DryBuddyFLEX 3 - Our Suggestions
- Consider getting a second Transceiver if
- You, the Parent or Caregiver are at a distance from your Child or Patient and cannot adequately hear the alarm in your child’s room, and want to be made aware when the alarm is triggered.
- Your Child or Patient is in a room or area where other children or persons may be sleeping or present, and they should not be disturbed.
- You want to cover a larger area of your home so that the patient can roam, and the alarms and remote can also function.
- You want to string multiple transceivers so as to cover a large area. Remember that the transceivers receive and re-transmit the signals to perform this function.
- Consider getting additional DryBuddy wetness sensing briefs if your child or patient might wet multiple times and it is not possible to wash and dry soiled briefs on a timely basis.
- If, when using the sensor magnetically attached to regular cotton briefs, your patient finds it uncomfortable to have the sensor pulling down on the briefs, have your patient wear another pair of firm-fitting briefs over the first briefs with the sensor attached.
- You can place wetness-absorbing briefs (or diaper-like devices) over the first briefs with sensor attached, so that excess urine is absorbed by these absorbing devices. This can also be done when using the DryBuddy wetness sensing briefs.
- For hard-to-wake patients, or patients who may be hearing impaired, the optional Bed Shaker is very effective. It is usually placed under the patient’s pillow, or between the bed’s mattress and foundation.
